Marketing and Social Media Specialist: Brandywine Conservancy and Museum of Art

Develops, executes, manages and analyzes advertising/marketing campaigns, including negotiating ad contracts and trades to support audience outreach and attendance goals.
Develops and executes advertising campaigns within the brand management plan, including graphic and editorial standards and ensuring that brand, messaging and positioning are consistent across all publications, media and platforms.
Represents the inbound and outbound sales/marketing, audience development, and Search Engine Optimization /Search Engine Marketing functions in ongoing enhancements to and maintenance of the Brandywine Conservancy & Museum of Art website.
Develops and maintains a comprehensive and current external-facing digital representation of the Brandywine Conservancy & Museum of Art, including the Web presence, social media in collaboration with other staff members as necessary.
Coordinates efforts with outside municipal, public, state agencies and others to develop collaborations in support of Brandywine’s marketing goals.
Develops, tracks, and reports on marketing and advertising components of the annual communications budget.


4–year degree required; business degree preferred
Three to five years professional experience in marketing/communications position required;
Proven ability to develop, coordinate, execute and analyze results of strategic and long-range marketing plans, consumer communications, message development, media planning and brand positioning.  Advanced knowledge of marketing principles and emerging electronic communication techniques;
Strong quantitative and marketing analysis skills;
Demonstrated writing ability with strong visual sense and attention to detail;
Demonstrated ability as a creative problem solver who can synthesize complex material quickly into data, charts and copy;
Strong project management and budgeting skills: ability to establish priorities, work within deadlines, multitask, and organize;
Experience with contract oversight of third-party vendors, design agencies and content developers;
Experience in dynamic cultural or non-profit organization preferred.
