Human Resources Coordinator: Impact Services Corporation

Position Summary:

Coordinate and maintain the Human Resources activities of the organization, including but not limited to; compiling and maintaining employee files, conducting employee orientation, and providing assistance in activities related to recruitment and selection, policy development and regulatory compliance.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.
  • Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions.
  • Answer questions regarding examinations, eligibility, salary, benefits, and other pertinent information.
  • Record data for each employee, including such information as addresses, absences, supervisory reports on performance, and dates of reasons for terminations.
  • Process, verify, and maintain documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, employee relations, performance evaluations, and classifications.
  • Gather personnel records from other departments or employees.
  • Provide current and prospective employees with information about job duties, working conditions, wages and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
  • Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.
  • Provide assistance in policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment.
  • Provide assistance with performance management, employee relations, as well as learning and development activities.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • PHR certification required
  • 4 years HR administration experience, inclusive of experience in both for profit and not-for-profit organizations
  • Knowledge of health care reform
  • Experience in Human Resources Information Systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and enthusiastic
