Primary Duties & Responsibilities

The Director of Institutional Giving and Government Relations is responsible for the strategic management of organizational fundraising from corporate, foundation, and government sources.  This position reports to the Vice President of External Affairs and works closely and independently with other institutional leadership, including Trustees and key volunteers.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum 7 years related development experience with a specific focus on institutional giving programs and major government grants and a proven track record of closing significant financial partnerships.  Superior oral and written communications skills essential, with careful attention to detail.  High computer proficiency necessary, including experience with Raiser’s Edge database, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Full Time, 37.5 hours per week.
