Network of Victim Assistance (NOVA) has been empowering survivors, promoting crime victim rights, and creating safer communities in Bucks County since 1974. NOVA provides a comprehensive range of services including crisis intervention and clinical counseling, education and training, combined with advocacy and court accompaniment. NOVA serves over 3400 clients annually, who experience sexual assault and other serious crimes. At this juncture, the executive director is retiring after a successful tenure of more than two decades. NOVA has sustained strong community partnerships and collaborations, maintains a diverse funding base and is led by a team of strong professionals and board volunteers. We are seeking qualified candidates for the role of executive director to promote NOVA’s mission and values through demonstrated strategic leadership, strong personal conviction and a record of accomplishment in nonprofit management. The executive director is responsible for providing a vision for the organization’s growth and development, ensuring strong team management and the highest quality of service in each of the program areas, assuring the agency’s financial viability, building collaborative relationships and serving as the key spokesperson for NOVA in the community.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrated success providing overall strategic leadership in an organization
  • Knowledge of services for vulnerable populations
  • Experience cultivating donors and creating partnerships
  • Strong team management and program oversight
  • Direct interface with a board of directors
  • Generating revenue via entrepreneurial approaches
