Associate Director of Development/Manager of Institutional Giving: Walnut Street Theatre

The Walnut Street Theatre (Philadelphia, PA) is seeking a skilled development professional to lead the institutional fundraising program.  This position is responsible for managing and growing a diverse portfolio of institutional funders through the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of new and existing corporate, foundation, and government prospects. Responsibilities include grant writing and research, managing corporate and business sponsorship program, and maintaining grants and reporting schedule.  Position entails significant interactions with senior staff, trustees and key stakeholders and assists in the supervision of an active, four-person fundraising team.  Applicants should be able to demonstrate compelling written and oral communications, excellent interpersonal skills and strong organizational abilities.  Minimum of five years progressive fundraising experience in the arts preferred.  Salary is commensurate with experience.
