Assistant Director of Partial Care Services: Archway Programs

Archway Programs is seeking an Assistant Director for its Partial Care Services program to assist the Director of PCS to provide clinical and administrative services to all children, youth and adult partial care program elements through knowledge of the bio-psycho-social paradigm.

Specific duties and responsibilities include:

·        Assisting the supervisory staff in the planning, development and daily operations of the Partial Care Program Elements; taking a supervision role with the PCS Supervisors as determined by the PCS Director.

·        Acting as Primary Clinician in providing individual and group treatment as assigned

·        Assisting the Director of PCS in budget and financial management of the program elements

·        Attending all treatment team conferences as assigned

·        Assisting the PC Supervisors in the recruitment, screening, hiring, orientation and training of program staff

·        Providing crisis intervention and follow-up treatment as necessary

·        Assisting in marketing and case finding for the PC programs

·        Attending CPAC, DMHS, CMO etc. meetings as assigned

·        Taking responsibility to meet/exceed the licensure requirements of the State of NJ for the PCS program element

·        Providing consultative services to Human Services Division staff and to other community agencies in the field regarding SED/SPMI child, youth and adult PC issues and services to our client population

·        Fulfilling all case documentation and statistical reporting requirements on an accurate and timely basis, including contact with managed care companies

Other knowledge, skills and certifications required:

·        Masters Degree in one of the mental health professions with 1-3 year’s clinical and some demonstrable supervisory experience; Supervised clinical internship by licensed mental health professional during Masters Degree program; eligibility for licensure in NJ as per regulation by the Dept of Consumer Affairs/Professional Board

·        Must be New Jersey Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker

·        Knowledge of behavioral and/or psychodynamic approaches to treatment and assessment

·        Intake assessment skills

·        Treatment skills in individual, group and family modalities

·        Knowledge of diagnostic and dynamic formulations

·        Good oral and written communication skills

·        Good interpersonal skills

·        Ability to be trained in CPI, PRT, FA & CPR

The salary range for this position is $62,000.00 – $93,000.00. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
