Advancement Manager: The Montgomery County Foundation, Inc.

Position Description/Overview:

Supports strategic revenue growth of the Foundation including addressing goals of the current and future development plans.

Supports CEO in efforts to increase permanent endowment funds and develop on-going relationships with donors.

Cultivation and implementation of current and new special events.

Stategize and implement efforts to secure new and untapped resources.

Manage Fiscal Sponsorships including reports.

Draft annual and special needs appeals to build the individual giving base.  Develop an annual giving campaign.

Track donor contributions.

Key Responsibilities:

Increasing the assets of the Foundation

Developing new funds and sources of funding.

Developing data that will increase the Foundation’s ability to raise additional dollars.

Qualifications:
  • A proven track record of raising dollars.
  • Bachelor’s degree plus is desired or equivalent experience.
  • An understanding of community foundations.
  • Excellent computer, people and phone skills.
Salary/Benefits:

Commensurate with experience.
