With over 300 graduates, we plan to continue offering the established three-year Gestalt Therapy training program while also demonstrating the varied uses of Gestalt Theory in our very complicated and diverse world. We will provide specifically focused, time-limited trainings for business, agency, or community cohorts, on our site, or at theirs.

The Position

The Executive Director (ED) will provide leadership and managerial oversight in all facets of the organization with specific accountability to the Board of Directors. As head of this collaborative, nonprofit agency, the ED will also respond to and co-create programming and policy in partnership with the Board, Faculty, Staff, Supervisors and Trainees. As founding members retire, our Board is entering a new phase of growth and development, including strengthening its diversity and equity at all levels: Board, Faculty, Leadership, and Trainees. The ED would join us, and lead our current process of Strategic Planning.

The applicant need not be trained in clinical work or Gestalt Theory. Tutorials will be provided.  The current leadership and ED will orient and co-lead for first year. The ED will attend Board, Faculty, and community meetings, some on weekends; otherwise, primarily flexible time, working remotely while residing in the Philadelphia region.
