Full Time CSEC Assessment Specialist: Philadelphia Children’s Alliance

The Philadelphia Children’s Alliance (PCA) is seeking an experienced clinician to conduct assessments of youth who have been identified as at-risk for being commercially sexually exploited (CSE) in order to connect them to resources and services. You will be part of a cohesive, supportive team helping to identify vulnerable youth and collaborate with other community agencies to get them specialized services. As a clinician at PCA, you will have access to your own well-supplied office to see clients as well as necessary clinical trainings to support professional skill and growth. This is a full time position working 5 days a week (weekdays), including some evening hours.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct clinically sound assessments of youth who have been identified by Phila. DHS/CUA as at-risk for being commercially sexually exploited both in the office and in the community
  • Create reports summarizing assessments including recommendations for services
  • Provide psychoeducation to caregivers and youth related to safety, trauma reactions, risk factors for CSEC, sexual health, and other supportive interventions
  • Collaborate with DHS and other community partners regarding CSEC services in Philadelphia


  • Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling, Social Work or related mental health field
  • Minimum 2 years experience working with children and trauma survivors
  • Ability to travel within Philadelphia for off-site assessments and meetings in the community
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort discussing sexual health and behavior
  • Fluency (ability to communicate and effectively assess) in Spanish preferred
  • Eligible for PA clinical license (LSW, LCSW, or LPC), current licensure preferred
